Grand Prize Winners from Last Year packed out the basement of the Star Bar at a recent show, their lights cutting through the fog from the machine they brought, the audience’s hands in the air moving to the strong beat. The showmanship, top notch. The energy, amazing, as everyone was incredibly into the sound. And though that sound leans to funk and hip-hop, the band has set up shop in the more indie venues around town, such as the Star Bar and 529.

You’ll get your chance to hear Grand Prize Winners Saturday as part of the Other Sound Music Festival in Atlanta’s Little Five Points.
